PADI Divemaster
Scuba Diving Malta

So you wish to go pro? You’ll need to be a rescue diver with 60 logged dives, and be able to swim 800 meters.

It is a big leap to go from an amateur diver to professional level, but is a journey that is allot of fun!!!!

Do you have what it takes?????

You can do your course over a number of weekends but the best way to do it is at a resort, where you will gain lots of experience working alongside experienced PADI professionals.

The course usually takes 2 weeks but if you wish you could stay for a month or two. This is a good option for some people as you can gain even more valuable experience assisting PADI instructor’s, and get to really know how a working dive centre runs.

The role of a PADI Divemaster is to guide certified divers and to assist an instructor on dive courses. You are also responsible for helping to shape the attitudes of new divers. As a Divemaster you can also help with advising experienced divers with advice and attitudes (Good diving practices).

So do you still think you have what it take’s to get on the first run of the PADI professional ladder??

If so send us an email for more information and we will be glad to advise you on what to do next.
