So you’re a PADI Divemaster but wish to go a little further?

Your next step is to either enroll on the PADI IDC or to become a PADI Assistant Instructor. 

Assistant Instructor’s are certified assistants but with the added knowledge of knowing how to teach certain PADI courses, like the peak performance buoyancy course and all of the Project Aware courses. This course usually takes 3 days but can be longer if done as a stand alone course. During the course you are taught the fundamentals of teaching the PADI system. There are teaching presentations, and confined and open water presentations to learn.
