COMINO DIVE SITES
LANTERN POINT
MAX DEPTH 35/40 METRES
This dive site is one of the most popular scuba dives on Comino. It caters for the less experienced and the experienced alike. From the thrill of parachuting down the chimney entrance to looking up from the bottom of the wall and seeing big shoals of Barracuda which frequent the site. You can also see colourful sponges in the caves and swim through. Moray eels, large Scorpion Fish and Grouper are often seen at the deeper sections of this site. Look for Octopus and Lobster in the small holes and cracks in the wall. This is one dive site not to be missed.

INNER LANTERN POINT
MAX DEPTH 30/35 METRES
This is the baby brother to Lantern Point. The site is suitable for all levels of diver. The site has a number of different routes, and the dive guides select the best route to suit the group. There are a number of swim throughs at different depths. There is also a large overhang to explore. The occasional Grouper can be seen here also but care must be taken not to startle these fish as they can be a little shy. As well as the usual fish, Amber Jacks and Guilt Head Bream can also be seen out in the blue at the deeper sections of the site.

CRYSTAL LAGOON
MAX DEPTH 15 METRES
Crystal lagoon is a popular second dive and is suitable for all levels of diver. The lagoon itself is a nursery for young fish and young Barracuda can often be seen during mid season. Look on the sandy area for Mediterranean Flounder and Flying Gurnards. Also look for Octopus around the large boulders close to the swim through the entrance.

ALEX’S CAVE
MAX DEPTH 16 METRES
Alex’s cave is suitable for all levels of diver and is one of our Comino second dives. It has a very nice swim through and superb internal cave. Octopus are regularly seen here as well as the rare Pearly Razor Fish on the sandy areas. Moray Eels and the occasional Conga Eel can be found under the boulders in the entrance to the cave.

INNER COMINOTO
MAX DEPTH 26 METRES
Inner Cominoto is a relaxed easy dive, it is ideal for check dives and training dives. For the more experienced it is possible to get some depth and explore the boulders in the deeper sections. And of course all of the usual flora and fauna can be found here.

ANCHOR REEF
MAX DEPTH 35 METRES +
This is a great wall dive, which offers a number of routes to satisfy all levels of diver. There are two nice swim throughs for the less experienced, and a large anchor in the deeper section of the site. Amber Jacks, Sardines, Octopus and Guilt Head Bream are often seen here as well as the usual med fish. Sponges and soft corals can be found in the caves and swim throughs.

THE CANYON AND THE OLD LUZZO BOAT
MAX DEPTH 20 METRES
This is ver good second dive. The site is suitable for all levels, Octopus are quite common here. There are a numbers of canyons to explore and the remains of a traditional fishing boat (Luzzu).

SAN NIKLAW CAVES
MAX DEPTH 14 METRES
SAN NIKLAW CAVES are a nice second dive and are suitable for all levels. The main attractions of the site are the caves and the canyon, which looks like it was man made. There are also a couple of smaller caves. Look out for Octopus, Moray Eels and Shrimp in the caves.

SANTA MARIA CAVES
MAX DEPTH 12/16 METRES
Santa Maria Caves is one of those dives that you will remember for a long time and is one of our most requested Comino dives. The site is suitable for all levels. It is a good place to spot Nudibranch and the occasional Conga Eel. There are many Banded Sea Bream due to the divers who take bread with them on the dive. This is a nice shallow dive with lots to see.

SANTA MARIA REEF
MAX DEPTH 17 METRES
This is a large dive site with two main routes. The routes are chosen before the dive according to the group. The site is suitable for all levels. There are a number of swim throughs and overhangs; here you will find Sponges, Tube Worms and soft corals. The large swim through to the north has a large colony of red annenmies in its roof. Amber Jacks, Banded Sea Bream and the occasional Barracuda are just a few of the fish that frequent the site.
