GOZO SITES
FESSEJ ROCK
MAX DEPTH 35 + METERS
Fessej Rock is a wonderful deep dive for the more experienced scuba diver, although it is possible to stay shallow for the less experienced. It is possible to see very large Grouper, Amber Jacks and Barracuda here, and if you are very lucky you may even spot an Eagle Ray.
RAS IL HOBBZ
MAX DEPTH 35 METERS
This site is very close to Fessej Rock and is a good choice if Fessej itself is blown out. The main attraction here is the pillar of rock that starts in 40 + meters and rises to around 10 meters.
MGAR IX XINI
MAX DEPTH 15/16 METERS
Mgar ix Xini is a great dive site. The main attractions are the caves. The site is also well know for its variety of juvenile marine life, Flying Gurnard, Mediterranean Flounder, Jon Dory and if you are very lucky the occasional Sea Horse. You will also find Hermit Crabs and a variety of sponges in the caves.
CHEESE ROCK
MAX DEPTH 15 METERS
Cheese Rock is a nice dive and is suitable for all levels. There are a number of swim throughs where you can often see large Scorpion Fish. There is also a large cavern to explore, and the views looking out are stunning.
DOUBLE ARCH REEF
MAX DEPTH 35+ METERS
This is one of the wonders of Gozo and we rate this site as good as the world famous Blue Hole. It is only really suitable for the more experienced diver due to the depth. It is possible to see Barracuda, Jacks, Tuna and Grouper. The under water topography is a fantastic feat of nature. The main attraction is the double arch which has one arch on top of the other.
CATHREDRAL CAVE
MAX DEPTH 20 METERS
As the name suggests there is a big cave here and it possible to surface inside the cave and see why it is called Cathedral Cave. With many holes and cracks in the ceiling, streams of sun light flood in giving the budding underwater photographer plenty of oportunities for some great pics!
